Chemical Name: Dextrose Anhydrous 
Potassium carbonate has anhydrous or crystalline product containing 1.5 molecules. Anhydrous is white granular powder, crystalline product is white translucent small crystals or granules, odorless, with strong alkaline smell, relative density 2.428 (19ºC), melting point 891ºC, solubility in water is 114.5g/l00mL (25ºC) ), easy to absorb moisture and deliquescence in humid air. Dissolved in 1mL of water (25ºC) and about 0.7mL of boiling water, after the saturated aqueous solution is cooled, a glassy monoclinic crystal hydrate is precipitated, the relative density is 2.043, the crystal water is lost at 100ºC, the pH value of 10% aqueous solution is about 11.6, insoluble in ethanol and ether.

For glass, printing and dyeing, soap, enamel, preparation of potassium salt, decarbonylation of synthetic ammonia, color TV industry, as leavening agent in food; as gas adsorbent, dry powder fire extinguishing agent, rubber antioxidant, etc.; for exposed photosensitive Processing of materials.

It is used in the manufacture of picture tube glass bulbs in the electronic industry, the decarbonization of fertilizer production, the manufacture of potassium salts, as analytical reagents, fluxes, and also in the preparation of various potassium salts; for analytical reagents, reference reagents and fused silicates and Flux for insoluble sulfates.

Desiccant in chemical experiments. Its water absorption capacity is medium, and it can form potassium carbonate (K2CO3 2H2O) with two crystal waters, but it has a slow action with water. It is suitable for drying neutral organic substances such as alcohols and esters, as well as general basic organic substances such as amines and alkaloids. But it cannot be used as a desiccant for acids, phenols or other acidic substances.

Alkaline agent and dough improver, and can inhibit the sourness of noodles. It can be used in pasta food, and it can be used in moderation according to production needs. For the production of optical glass, it can improve the transparency, strength and refractive index of glass.
